Carol Abbe’s latest paintings incorporate the sparkle and pattern of mosaic, though after almost 50 years in art she has not lost her love of the more traditional media: watercolor, oils, acrylic and all of the printmaking disciplines.
She earned her B.A. in Art History at Stanford University in 1951 and her Masters in Studio Art at San Jose State University in 1978. She has taught at Sierra College and Drawing and Painting in the San Juan Adult Education Program. She also received over 200 awards in statewide Juried Shows.
