Phyllis Eymann is a lifetime artist who specializes in watercolor including mixed media. "It’s the feel of the watercolor on paper" that has captured her interest. While proficient at traditional work, it is the experimental explosions of color and shape that has lead to the development of her own decorative, unique style that she has dubbed "deco-whimsey". Eymann’s facility with the brush has resulted in multiple awards including Best of Show, First Place, Awards of Excellence and Awards of Merit. She currently appears in three galleries and her art work has been purchased by Corporate and private collectors including J. C. Penneys.

Ms Eymann has a dual degree in Art and Social Science with a Masters in Social Work. Her Masters Thesis "Emotionally Handicapped Children and the Drawing of Self" drew together her artistic soul with her search for psychological meaning. She currently teaches Watercolor Creativity at the Sacramento Fine Arts Center.
